CVD – Two Make One
This concept inspired by an inseparable couple, entwined and in love as one. A partnership that is so closely connected and seeming unable to be separated. A celebration of lovers, a universal token of affection, love and emotional connection. A commitment to sharing something precious to one another. The Two Make One product concept offers detachable trim components that can be taken off and partially shared with your partner. Dancing and entwined linking couples in elevated graphic applications throughout, offered in black, mocha, red and white with gold trims.
963Hz – Cymatics
963Hz is the healing power of sound. Sound therapy demonstrated through product interpretations. Sound vibration has an ability to promote relaxation, reduce stress and enhance overall wellbeing. Highlighting the profound influence that sound and vibration can have on our bodies. One frequency that’s gained particular attention is 963Hz. It is argued that this frequency possesses a unique resonance with the human body and can induce a profound sense of calmness and relaxation. This symphony of vibration or ripple visual has been used through graphic interpretation and garment construction. 963Hz offers us the science of visible sound. Silver, organic shaped rippled hardware is complimented by shades of grey and lavender, ripple fabrication textures, fluid seam panelling and intricate pleating and pocket detailing.
Aurora
Referring to sunlight at dawn, symbolizing the bright and hopeful prospects that lie ahead.
In China the term originates from the poem ‘Zao Xing Yu Xue’ by Tang Yanqian, which describes a scene where everything is quiet and still, and the first light of dawn breaks through the coldness. In the periodic table Gold is Au. The name derives from the Latin aurum, for Aurora, the goddess of dawn. This capsule does not search for gold but instead looks to the quiet, still Aurora that surrounds it. A capsule that is minimal in styling, quiet in its shade, still and contemporary, with non-descript confidence. Re-contextualised minimal smartness.
Reverse Label
This narrative is driven by a metaphor for the ever- elusive nature of truth, and the limitations of human understanding. It challenges our assumption about the world we live in and encourages a more open-minded and contemplative approach to life and existence. An allegorical story from Chinese philosophy, attributed to the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi, tells a story that explores the concept of parallel universes and questions the nature of reality and perception. Zhuangzi ‘Dream of the Butterfly’ leaves him puzzled and uncertain about his identity and existence. A dream so vivid and immersive that Zhuangzi becomes fully convinced that he is indeed a butterfly. These garments are constructed or finished in different ways, reflected parallel parts in styling and graphics are flipped and reversed or distorted to create such illusions. Familiar but slightly distorted by reality.
